Required GPA

How does GT calculate the required GPA? My school does the + and - system so is my gpa gonna be the same as my school when GT calculates it or it going to be different slightly? Thank you

Re: Required GPA

I also have one more question. Is the required GPA (for both general GPA and math and science GPA) calculated for ALL the classes that I've taken or the ones that are transferrable to GT? Thank you

Re: Required GPA

According to our admission policy, your overall GPA is calculated using all grades from all courses, including repeated courses, from all schools ever attended.  Your math/science GPA is calculated in the same manner using all math courses at the calculus level and above with all 4-credit hour, transferable lab sciences.

We use a standard grading system (4 points for A's, 3 for B's, etc.).

I took Introduction to Statistics at Georgia Perimeter, and this class is equivalent to Georgia Tech's Management Statistics class. Will this class be calculated in my math/science GPA? My major is Management.

Thank You.

Re: Required GPA

For the math portion of the combined math/science GPA calculation we use any MATH courses that are equal to Calculus I or higher (any course numbers equal to or higher than your Calc I course number).
