Provost Scholarship

Provost's Scholarship is one of Georgia Tech's most highly selective awards offered only to exceptional admitted freshmen by the Office of Undergraduate Admission.  
  
A separate application is not required. Recipients are automatically selected.
 

Those chosen for this scholarship are accepted freshman outside the state of Georgia that have demonstrated extraordinary academic achievement and possess outstanding leadership skills.

For the 2011-2012 award year, approximately 40 recipients were selected from the more than 6000 students admitted. Recipients are notified by letter from the Office of the Provost. 

Each recipient is offered:

• A scholarship for up to eight semesters of full time enrollment in an amount equal to the non-resident portion of tuition charges.
• In 2011-2012, the value of this award was $ 9105 per semester.         
   

Recipients must achieve and maintain at least a 3.00 cumulative grade point average.
