Engineer Hope

This year, Georgia Tech celebrates the 50th anniversary of the matriculation of African-American students. In 1961 Ford Greene, Ralph Long Jr., and Lawrence Williams took those first steps to help make education available for all. Since then, thousands of African Americans, women, and other minorities have studied at Tech, graduated, and gone on to make great contributions to the world.
